Cards from Crafter-Get-Together

As seen in the previous post, we've organised the Crafter-Get-Together V.5 at Scrap-n-Crop. Here some of the cards that I managed to complete. 

Crafter Get-Together V5: Full Report

 

It’s been almost 1 year since our last Crafter Get-Together at Scrap-n-Crop. It was a pretty short notice (1 weeks), but we managed to gather almost 15 peoples. I humbly thank to everyone for attending, and for supporting this little get-together. I really had lots of fun meeting the other crafters.

Scrap-n-Crop had been very accommodating in providing a place for us to hang out for the whole day. Scrap-n-crop is the Asia's largest online scrapbook store and started selling their product since 2006. They offer wide range of scrapbooking, card making and other craft supplies with very affordable price. They’ve been such a great supporter in making this event a success and memorable. As for the lovely 24^th November, we started our session at around 1.30 pm and ended it 5.30 pm. (I wish we could go on longer, but perhaps next time). We began the session by drooling over each other's craft tool, and then I shared how to use the die-cut machine and distress ink technique.

Meeting them was like meeting your long-lost buddies, since we clicked almost instantly. We laughed at each others' jokes, getting excited when someone used gorgeous colour combinations, getting thrilled when someone discovered new designs and techniques and feeling satisfied looking at those cards that we made, spread on the table. Then, to spread the happiness we decided to swap the cards with everyone. 

I guess it's true what people say - time went very fast when you're doing something you love. It felt like I didn't really want to leave, and there are so many other things that we could share and discuss. Last but not least, I would like to thank the sponsors who generously provide us with a lot of foods!

A seasoned wedding cards, door gifts, favour and guest book designer and creator, Saza has once again kindly volunteered to host a Crop.Arty at Scrap-n-Crop.com this coming 20th January 2013.

As you guessed right, this time around she'll be making a wedding guest book incorporating 3D flowers, with details in the inserts (internal pages) and wedding themed scrapbooking paper to ensure that the end product is totally acid free for the couple to cheerish forever.

It's Back!

Pipit Wonderful Market VIII

Together with my talented crafty friend Namizam, we will participating in the Pipit Wonderful Market 8 on 5th May 2012 at Annex Gallery, Central Market.
