It’s been almost 1 year
since our last Crafter Get-Together at Scrap-n-Crop. It was a pretty short
notice (1 weeks), but we managed to gather almost 15 peoples. I humbly thank to
everyone for attending, and for supporting this little get-together. I really
had lots of fun meeting the other crafters.
Scrap-n-Crop had been very
accommodating in providing a place for us to hang out for the whole day. Scrap-n-crop is the Asia's largest
online scrapbook store and started selling their product since 2006.
They offer wide range of scrapbooking, card making and other craft supplies
with very affordable price. They’ve been such a great supporter in making this
event a success and memorable. For more info on Scrap-n-Crop you can visit
their website
and facebook page.
As for the lovely 24th
November, we started our session at around 1.30 pm and ended it 5.30 pm. (I
wish we could go on longer, but perhaps next time). We began the session by
drooling over each other's craft tool, and then I shared how to use the die-cut
machine and distress ink technique.
Meeting them was like
meeting your long-lost buddies, since we clicked almost instantly. We laughed
at each others' jokes, getting excited when someone used gorgeous colour
combinations, getting thrilled when someone discovered new designs and
techniques and feeling satisfied looking at those cards that we made, spread on
the table. Then, to spread the happiness we decided to swap the cards with
everyone.
I
guess it's true what people say - time went very fast when you're doing
something you love. It felt like I didn't really want to leave, and there are
so many other things that we could share and discuss. Last but not least, I
would like to thank the sponsors who generously provide us with a lot of foods!
