Dear All,

Craft & DIY for my engagement day

Hi everyone!

As promised, here some pictures of craft and DIY, which i did for my engagement day (with the help of my lovely friends). And it will be a lengthiest post that you ever read in my blog..hihi..sorry.

Okay, lets start with the DIY dais

DIY dais include the background (fabric & paper rosette), pillows, side flowers and stand.

Close up on paper rosette ( it took me about 1 months to complete this)..huhu.

Then, DIY of sewing beads on my dress and veil.

On the candy buffet, it's also have 'Facebook Comment' for the guest to write their wishes. :)

Problem solved!

My new passion is handmade flower as you can see here. However, this new love cause me a problem. Which is how to keep the card with the 3D flower? ermm..its seems like the envelope was not suitable for it. Then, after several times of try and error, i found the solution!

yeah!!! as you can see here..wink~*


I used 'clear plastic cover' (sorry i don't recall the exact name) to make box that can replace the envelope and I'm so happy as it's turn great!! hehe..

Plus with the ribbon..weee~

Hi.

Please accept my apologies for being silent again. I owe a lot of things especially the announcement for my first giveaway..yeahh..i’ve spoiled my first giveaway. The winner should be announced on early May, but hey, it’s going to be end of June soon! Bad Saza! (T T)

I’m still juggling between passion for craft, a demanding job and life as a student. Although it’s caused my life become hectic and crazy, I can not abandon one of these. From today onwards, I try to balance it!! (You can do it saza!yeah!)

Therefore, I’ve planned several updates for the next post, inter alia:

Blog_ 2nd Anniversary

I can't believe how quickly time flies! This month, we're celebrating our 2^nd-year blog anniversary. We’ve changed and grown a lot since the first craft posted in this blog. I can honestly say that this blog has been one of the best things things I've ever done. The chance to share my craft, the people I've met and interacted with {physically & virtually}, the amazing opportunities and experiences that I've encountered, and most importantly the friends I've made along the way, has meant the world to me in so many ways that I cannot express other than my deepest thanks. Hope this goodness will continue and last forever.

Scrap-n-crop and Kit of the month

When I get serious into card making, I’m always envy with other crafter from overseas who has various handy-tools like die cut machine, border puncher, lovely patterned paper etc. Scrapbook and card making materials were not easily available in Malaysia and the choices were limited, therefore most of my supplies was sourced from bookstore, wedding stationery shop and even sometime from the hardware store..hehe..

I hope one day, in Malaysia there is a craft/scrapbook store that selling those tools which make my world of card making become more interesting and easier. It’s like a dream come true when I accidentally found this and this blog, where it has the list of all scrapbooking stores in Malaysia (online store and shop lots).

Surprisingly, I found that there is a shop that near to my house. They started selling their product since 2006. It is Scrap-n-Crop. Starting form that, visit to this shop was in my ‘to do list’ over the weekend*. Scrap-n-crop offers wide range of scrapbooking, card making and other craft supplies with very affordable price. And the owner was friendly too!.

We're back to business!

I'm back finally, from several months hiatus from card making

Many things have happened especially my career in the corporate another step taken before marriage life (engagement) and now, I’m also a part-time student! phewww~

That’s why I’m being silent from crafting as I need time for adjustment and that condition really exhausted me. I am really sorry for those who are tried to contact me in that time.

I truly miss crafting and I've decided to come back now. However, please take note that I am only able to take limited order per month. For those who have emailed and send request in the picture comment, kindly email me again.

OK then, let’s crafting again!

Craft + Presentation

This is going to be a loooooong post as there are a lot pictures to share. You must wonder what are the connections between my hobby and the presentation. As you can see in the above picture, the audience look formal..weeee...

Okay, as to improve the presentation skills of the staff, my office has send us to a training. So, for the practical assignment, we need to deliver a presentation in any topics. So, of course i choosed "Card making" !!!. Please bear in mind that my audience was not a crafter, they are all my colleagues, including my boss...erkk... :P.. so, my presentation should suit to everyone. dup dap..dup dap..dup dap..hehe..

The topic of my presentation is how to turn my/your hobby into a business. (but hello, don't think that i've make a 'lot' of money from the card making yaaa..) hehe..

First, i share with them the benefits of making greeting card.

Then, we had a group activities which i teached them the quilling technique..ngeee~

At first, i've doubt whether, they will enjoy and participate with the group activites. Suprisingly, they was really supportive and like to give a try!...yeah!! So, pictures below was the result of their cards. I'm so proud with them!
